Thought that was a little too long for a title.
Yes, Alan Rickman. Oozes cool, which, whilst a rather disturbing image, is also the main reason i went to see the Harry Potter films. And remains one of the only reason why I enjoy the Harry Potter films.
*shudders*
Anyhoo, woo for Alan Rickman!
done on 135gsm cartridge paper (all nice and textured) with HB mechanical pencil,
3H, 4H, 2B, 5B sketching pencils
Took... uh... somewhere in the region of 6 hours i'd say.

Something is off, I think I know what it is. This is mainly an exercise to remind myself how to shade with pencil... I havent done it properly in ages.
Some detail lost in scanning....

Edit!:
Yeah, I fiddled around with Alan (heehee, wow I'm so immature today) on photoshop, changed his eyes and darkened bits here and there....
looks better now, I think, but I still have difficulty looking at it.

YES!!! I see Harry Potter movies for Alan Rickman too! He is like god! This is amazing, it really does look like him.

OOh, very nice. I like him best in Galaxy Quest XD Any Alan Rickman fan should see that. *nods* But he's really good in Sense and Sensibility, too. (or was it Pride and Prejudice? I'm getting all mixed up with these english movies) Awesome pic. :moo:

woah...absolutely lovely. Alan Rickman=great. He was in Galaxy Quest? Gah...I saw that so long ago, probably didn't even know who Alan was then. I've seen HP flicks, Dogma, and Love Actually. And a bit of that HBO special....agh Alan...beautiful man...greater voice!
